The Accumulair Gold 16x25x1 air filter is designed to provide high-efficiency filtration with minimal resistance to airflow. The 100% synthetic media is engineered to capture small airborne particles, improving the quality of indoor air. To enhance durability, the pleated media is laminated to a metal backing that is recyclable, galvanized, and corrosion-resistant. The filter has been tested to perform at a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value of 8 (MERV 8) by an independent laboratory according to ASHRAE Standard 52.2. This filter is capable of capturing up to 76% of common airborne particles, such as dust, lint, dust mite debris, cement dust, standing dust, small fibers, and other contaminants. All MERV data and statements are indicative of typical properties and characteristics, and should be used as a general guide for comparison, not as a specification.

The Accumulair Gold MERV 8 Electrostatic Pleated HVAC Furnace Air Filter is designed for residential or commercial use, with the aim of improving and freshening indoor air quality by reducing airborne contaminants and microscopic particles. This filter is compatible with almost any brand and can be used in air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and HVAC units.

The pleated air filter is rated as MERV 8, meaning it captures up to 75% or more of airborne contaminants, including pollen, dust mite debris, smoke particles, pet dander, dust, lint, cement dust, and small fibers. The pleated electrostatic media provides high filtration efficiency without compromising the system's airflow, making it an ideal replacement filter for residential homes, small commercial businesses, and workplaces.

The air filter is designed to last up to 90 days, but more frequent changes may be required for homes with pets, children, or individuals with allergies. Regularly replacing the air filter keeps the air clean and reduces the strain on the heating and cooling system or HVAC unit.
